FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which stocks are on this page?
Every stock with a live quote, in any country. The table currently lists 6,141 stocks. A row is included when the price was updated in the last few days and the company profile has a name. Exchange-traded funds and mutual funds are left out. Each row opens a profile.
Does the screener include stocks outside the United States?
Yes. The screener is not limited to US listings. Country and exchange are columns, and both can be filtered. ADRs are included when they have a live quote. A ticker with no recent price has no row and no profile page.
Does the stock screener include ETFs?
No. Exchange-traded funds and mutual funds are left out. The table is stocks: common shares and ADRs with a live quote. Filter by sector, industry, country, or exchange to narrow that list.
How do I search and sort the stock screener?
Use the search icon in the Ticker column to match a symbol or company name. Click a column heading to sort. Scroll the table to load more rows.
What is on a company profile?
Each profile shows the logo, ticker, company name, live price, and daily change, plus a short description and company facts: sector, industry, exchange, market cap, employees, headquarters, website, CEO, listing date, P/E, and dividend yield. When the name is moving on the market boards, a Market Pulse bar explains the session move with an AI digest. A price chart runs back to 2020. Signed-out visitors and Free accounts see the last year of stock news, press releases, and legal notices under the chart. Pro, including the 7-day trial, sees the full archive.
Are the prices on the screener live?
Yes. The price and daily change on the screener and on each profile update from the live quote for every visitor. No API key is required. The chart on a profile opens on one candle per session. 1W, 1M, and 1Y group those sessions into weeks, months, and years.
How do I pull the same news from the API?
Filter GET /v1/news with
tickers=AAPL and type=news, type=press_release, or type=legal. Pro searches the full archive in real time. A Free API key is delayed 15 minutes and covers the last year. The screener page itself stays public.Do I need an API key to open a company profile?
No. The screener and each profile are public. The live price and daily change update from the live quote for every visitor. Headlines on a profile follow the news desk: signed-out visitors and Free accounts see the last year, 15 minutes behind, and Pro, including the 7-day trial, sees the full archive as headlines are ingested.
How far back do the headlines on a profile go?
Signed-out visitors and Free accounts see the last year of stock news, press releases, and legal notices for that ticker, 15 minutes behind, and each headline links to the publisher. Pro, including the 7-day trial, sees the full archive as headlines are ingested. A Free API key returns the last year. Pro keys search the full archive. The price chart is separate: one candle per session from the start of 2020.
